Infrared

The second phase of any thorough roof investigation is the infrared scan. Infrared scanning is an excellent tool to find problem areas, confirm the need to repair, restore or replace a roof, and to make sure a new roofing assembly is dry at the completion of a project. Professional Roof Services Inc., owns its own infrared scanning equipment and employs two of the most knowledgeable scanners in the country.

The following is a list of items which are included in the scan:

Verify survey results by taking probes with a Delmhorst moisture meter or Tramex meter at selected locations.

Spray paint all wet areas using a highly visible marking paint.

Provide infrared photographs of selected wet areas.
